The “prologue” of this website goes back to the 16th January 2005. On this Sunday the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung” (which is on of the more important sunday newspapers in Germany) published an article about a new Kaesong Industrial Zone in North Korea in North Korea. I typed “Kaesong” into the computer an registrated the Domain kaesong.de.
Untill the publishing of the above mentioned article in the newspaper I have not dealed with the subject “North Korea” at all. The economic dynamic of the chinese industrial zones in mind, I started a little website about Kaesong. From time to time I posted news about companies starting to work at Kaesong.
During my own work for interview-blog.de I interviewed more than half a dozen CEO’s of western companies with closed ties to the north korean economy. In this context emerged the idea to start a little web based offshoring guide about the new IT industry in Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea.
And as it belongs to a real Offshoring-Guide, the wordpress blog was setup in China. For this extraordinary work I say thank you very much to Yang Lu of Linqsoft.
In the near future this nk-it.com wants to be for the IT offshoring industry what techcrunch.com is for the start-up-scene all over the world.
